Omega Smoothie



Hello from sunny Puerto Rico everyone!  I just wanted to post this recipe for you all quickly because it is one of my absolute FAVORITES I’ve been making for almost a year!   Hemp and Chia seeds are excellent to add into your smoothies to help balance your Omega 3s and 6s.   Chia seeds are a nutrient powerhouse loaded with antioxidants, omega 3s, fiber, protein, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, this list goes on.  These are great for thickening up any recipe or to add in for your healthy Omega-3 fatty acid which is essential to ones diet.  Hemp Seeds are a source of complete protein and are another nutritional powerhouse.  They also work together wonderfully with chia seeds.  They are one of the easiest digestible proteins and contain all 20 varieties of amino acids and all 9 of the essential amino acids.  They give any recipe a creamier texture, YUM!!  Here is the recipe for this delicious creamy smoothie!



  • 6 Bananas (3 Frozen)
  • 3 Medjool Dates (pitted)
  • Water from 1 Young Thai Coconut
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Hemp Seeds
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • A Dash of Nutmeg

Optional:  Vanilla Bean Powder

  1. Blend all ingredients and ENJOY!! Xx
